CORK NOVEL WRITERS

Cork Novel Writers – (email: corknovelwriters@gmail.com); is a forum for novel and novella writers; but not writers of erotica, poetry, short stories or memoirs.

Prospective members should have written at least one chapter, and are committed to writing in the long-term.

With a view of getting to know and establishing mutual confidence with one another,
participants meet once a month.

At meetings, participants should not expect to read out long passages from their work on hand. Particular issues, or difficulties, may be addressed; but detailed critiquing should be undertaken via correspondence.

Members, having a common subject interest, should form buddy relationships with others, and critique each other’s work through the medium of email.

With the goal of improving grammar, spelling, characterization and general story style, participants’, respecting the confidentiality of other’s writing, are expected to give feedback, as well as getting it.

Meetings take place in the Bishopstown Bar, at 7:30 pm on the second Tuesday of every month.
