Speaker and contact details for upcoming meeting on Autism Nutritition

As mentioned in an earlier article last week, a one day meeting on Autism Nutrition will be held this Saturday October 13th. The speaker is Noreen Cronin, a nutritionist who provides private nutritional assessments and consultations to clients in Ireland and the UK.

She has an MSc in Nutritional Medicine from the University of Surrey, UK, and a previously obtained BSc and PhD in Chemistry from University College Cork, Ireland. She worked in medicinal research, and as a production chemist and laboratories manager in the pharmaceutical industry, before retrainig as a nutritionist.

Noreen is an Associate Nutritionist (ANutr) with The Nutrition Society, UK & Eire, and is listed on the Voluntary Register of Nutritionists (VRN). She is a Defeat Autism Now ! Practitioner with the Autistic Research Institute (ARI), USA. In 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2011 she attended the Defeat Autism Now ! conferences and has completed the ARI certified medical education (CME) training:

  • Clinician’s II training, 2008 – Cherry Hill, New Jersey, USA.
  • Nutritionist training, 2009 – Atlanta, Georgia, USA.
  • Clinician’s II training, 2011 – Atlanta. Georgia, USA.

In 2012, Noreen attended Dr. Amy Yasko’s conference in Portland, Maine, USA. The conference dealt with TheYasko Protocol, which uses nutritional genomics testing to treat autism. Noreen utilises nutritional genomics and The Yasko Portocol in conjunction with the Defeat Autism Now! approach, where appropriate.

Noreen is also a member of The British Society for Ecological Medicine.
